Indomie day at school
So indomie organized "indomie day" for schools and came visiting our school. Fun galore for the kids especially for pupils who are members of the indomie fans club. We use this medium to say thank you to indomie Noodles for considering us partners.
Teachers' training.
It's our style to continuously upgrade and keep to the changes in the educational sector. We have in the past attainded a training by the center for educational development in Nigeria, the Melrose teachers capacity building, Macmillan yearly training, center for research, early years educators training amongst others. This time we invited oxboard consulting to train and retrain us. It was a kind of refreshers course especially for some of us that have attainded this type of training in the past. It was titled " the 21 century teacher, her ways and her school" this presented an opportunity for great brainstorming.
Hands on learn
"Hands on learn" for this term was an eye opener for the kids. The grade/ transition pupils learnt how to sew their clothes, while the nursery/ busy bees learnt how to bottom their shirts. "Hands on learn" is where we go outside the scheme to teach life long skills. The children didn't want to stop the sewing class, a lot were able to sew up their torn cloth. Bravo!

27th May...
Children's day has come and gone, but the memories will linger for a long time. Yes we were at the wonderland event and it was so much fun. Brands like Cway foods, Sona, Mr fruits were on ground with lots of freebies for the children.
ICT workshop
So we had an invitation to attain an ICT day (an expository workshop) at oxborad college baruwa. The children were challenged seeing other children show their skills. We hope to attain more of such workshops.
